  • Best & most reliably vehicle that I have owned

15 years and over 375,000 and it continues to run beautifully. I change the oil about every 6,000 miles and that's abour it. If i keep it a few more months, I will probably purchase 4 new tires. It is currently on it's third set, yes, you read this correctly. This truck does't even wear out tires. Other that one front wheel bearing and the catalylic converters, it has been wonderful. Can't say enough good about it.

only truck I would ever own, tough, gets the job done, reliable to a fault, underpriced for what you get. It had one problem, the radiator that would fail and leak into transmission, of which Nissan recalled and replaced free. Some people did not heed the recall and lost transmission. I did and transmission still as good as new 14 years later. I have overloaded the truck numerous times and still no problem. It is my opinion the best Nissan, best truck, one of the top 10 vehicles ever made and I have owned many.
  • My 9th Nissan (?)

I've owned several Nissans and this is my 2nd truck, starting in 1980 (when it was Datsun). I've never had any serious (engine, transmission, gear/rear end) problems with any of these vehicles. I had a 1998 Chevy S-10 with 150,000 miles on it when I decided to buy a new truck. I looked at the Nissan, Chevy Colorado (new one), Toyota Tacoma, etc. This truck fit me. It has a nice but firm ride. Yet it doesn't feel like a truck, although it is. It has nice appointments, at least for me. All power accessories, the XM radio. I've never had to use the jump seats in back and I've never hauled too much in the bed of the truck. I don't tow anything so I don't know how the towing would be.
